Carr Street – Foul Sewer and Stormwater Renewals
The Carr Street work involved the renewal of 300m of 225mm PVC Wastewater Pipes and 200m of 375mm – 825mm concrete pipes. The depths to invert varied from 1.8m to 3.5m and works included the installation of precast manholes to 3.5m depth and the installation of laterals and connections to existing pipes. 10T manholes were lifted into place by Hiab trucks and detailed connections for new concrete pipes included reinforced concrete corbels.
